This journey began when it was time to redefine my relationship with my parents, by moving beyond forgiveness, to feel love for the two people who had hurt me the most .
Thereby redefining my relationship with each of them.
As a Reiki Master, Qi Gong Teacher and Meditation Guide over the last 27 years,
I knew how to engage with the energy of love.
It was time to activate that energy to guide me to take my own journey home to love with my parents. First with my father, then with my mother. Repeating this mantra as an intention: Only LOVE Remains.
When my daughter headed off to college, I was left in the nest to grieve, release and let go, making space for my next form of contribution to show up. My passion as a writer came knocking on my door, which is when I knew it was time to share these two stories with the world, into one book:

About the book
Only Love Remains is the story of how I came to feel deep love for my parents. The two people who hurt me the most. These two stories take you on a journey of deep healing, restoration, and love.
The first story is the journey with my father, in his last year and a half of life, as I flew back and forth from California to England until I could fulfill my commitment to love. The second story is the journey in searching for and meeting my mother for the first time since she left when I was six weeks old. Both of these stories are how I came to a place in my heart and life, of deeply loving my parents, for the gift that they each were to me, rather than consistently focusing on the pain they caused, which kept me living into my woundedness.
These two personal journeys have set me free to explore life, with love guiding the way in all of my relationships.

About Rose
The early part of my life was spent in a Group Home in the heart of London. It is from where I derived my love of community. It is where, as I took my own journey home to love as an adult, that I realized that I was actually, “a happy little orphan.” Which is a far cry from the story I created in my mind growing up.
My mother left when I was 6 weeks old, I was abandoned into a group home, and when my father did marry and take me to live with him, our relationship became hostile.
So, as a young adult, that is the story I focused on. All the negative aspects of my childhood and teenage years. I held many a pity party for myself.
Yet something shifted in my late twenties. I got sick of hearing the same old story coming out of my mouth.
I got sick of living into the same scenarios, no matter how far away I moved. And I moved far, far away. At the age of 24, an opportunity opened in California, and I took it. Four years later my healing journey began, as I lay on the floor one-night shouting at the God I no longer believed in, that . . .
“Something has to change!” “I am not getting up off the floor until something changes.” I had no idea in that moment, that that something was going to have to be ME.
That was a humbling and incredibly significant moment. Mentors, self-help groups, the healing arts showed up in my life, and my life changed. I was willing to do what it took to create a different life. It is the hardest work I have ever had to do. The inner journey is the darkest place on Earth. Yet, it is also the most beautiful, vulnerable, trusting, heart-opening place to venture.
It is what led me, all these years later to recognize that Love is at the core of who we are. That Love is a powerful force of nature! While also being soft, gentle and tender. Love is the light from within that shines its radiant beauty into the dark spaces within us, to bring us to our knees, yet to also pick ourselves up from the broken places of our own suffering. Until Only LOVE Remains. It is a journey from the inside-out.
Only Love Remains became my guide on the journey I knew I had to take with my father during his end of life year and a half. It is the most profound, healing, restorative, regenerative, loving journey I have ventured into.
Which is why I am sharing this journey with you. As a guiding light for those of you who are ready to heal the broken places of Your own suffering, so that you may be free from the chains that bind, to feel free, alive, happy, peaceful, calm and whole. I would like to invite you to be part of our community that can allow us to live in a world where:
